The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has applauded the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and Truck Transit Parks Limited (TTP) for their role in easing traffic congestion around the Apapa and Tin Can Island port corridors which hitherto affected port operations and nightmare for it's users. The Apapa Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has continued it's record breaking fete, as the command in barely 24 hours of assumption of Comptroller Emmanuel Oshoba as Customs Area Controller has once again broken it's record on daily duty collection . The command, while implementing the  vow of the new CAC to build on the success of his predecessor on Tuesday the 9th of September 2025 collected the sum of ₦20,156,077,098.56 only. The Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), Arsenio Dominguez, is scheduled to embark on a three-day working visit to Nigeria from October 2nd to 4th, 2025. The Lagos Free Trade Zone L f c command of the Nigeria Customs Service, between the months of January to August 2025 generated a total revenue sum of ₦459,848,420,344.77k. This was disclosed by Comptroller Olanrewaju Abdulwahab Olumoh during his handing over ceremony on Thursday, 4th of September, 2025 following his retirement from active service, having serviced the Nigeria Customs Service meritoriously for 35 years.
