In line with NPA's management’s efforts to further boost the development and patronage of the Eastern Ports to increase operational efficiency, the Nigerian Ports Authority NPA has expressed its readiness to deploy the Electronic Call-Up System for trucks at the Onne Ports Complex as approved by the Federal Executive Council. The Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority NPA, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho has approved the replacement of six Port Managers to pilot the affairs of the ports. In a recent disposition order signed by the Managing Director, Mr. Adebowale Lawal Ibrahim is to take charge of the Lagos Ports Complex as the Port Manager, while Mr. Abubakar Sani Isa becomes the Port Manager of the Tin Can Island Port. Also, Onne Port will be handled by Mr. Abdulrahman Hussaini while Mr. Sa’adu Dahiru Mohammed will manage  Delta Ports Warri. Others are Mr. Ekine Ibifiri Alex for  Calabar Port and Mr. Emmanuel Anda becomes the Port Manager of Lekki Port The Port Manager of Rivers Port, Mrs Kenechi Edith Okezie retains her position.
