Capacity Building: TinCan Customs Equips Maritime Journalists For Effective Reporting of The Service.
In a bid to build capacity and equip the maritime journalists for effective reporting, the TinCan Island command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has organized a one Day training and capacity building program to deepen their understanding of the Service’s ongoing trade modernisation drive, as well as its operations and procedures in line with global best practices. This year's edition, themed, "Compliance, Collaboration and Modernisation: Aligning The Nigeria Customs with Global Best Practices" which took place at the Command on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 also aimed at strengthening collaboration between the NCS and the media for accurate and informed reporting.
