The Command had recorded its highest monthly revenue collection ever in August 2025, raking in ₦159 billion.

‎The CAC had then praised the commitment of his officers and commended  stakeholders for contributing to the achievement.

‎Onurka also commended the Comptroller-General of Customs who is also the Chairman of World Customs Organisation Council, CGC Bashir Adewale Adeniyi mfr for recognising the efforts of the Tin Can Island Port Command officers and granting his support in their activities.

‎The TinCan Island Port Command has fully keyed into the policy of collaboration, consolidation and innovation as espoused by the CGC and this has been a driving force in the activities of the Command this year.

‎Using this drive,  Tin Can Island Port Command will continue to set the pace for customs operations nationwide, reinforcing its role as a vital revenue hub for Nigeria.
