Nigerian Shippers' Council Enhances Staff Capacity with ECMS Training

The Nigerian Shippers' Council, (NSC), has organized a comprehensive training program for its staff on the adoption and implementation of the Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS)

The aim of the training was to equip staff with technical skills required to effectively operate the system, streamline document management, and improve workflow. This will help to boost operational efficiency thereby, reduce administrative bottlenecks and enhance overall productivity.

The training will also enable staff to provide timely access to information, thereby strengthening service delivery to stakeholders.

Speaking during the exercise, the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of NSC, Dr. Akutah Pius, MON, urged staff to embrace the new initiative and leverage the Council's digitization drive to improve efficiency in service delivery.

He stressed the importance of adaptability, noting that the success of the system depends on how quickly staff integrate it into their daily operations.

With this investment in capacity building, the Council is positioning itself to achieve greater efficiency, transparency, and innovation in its operations, key drivers of its long-term vision for organizational growth and improved service delivery.

NCS Medical Team Trains Apapa Area Command Officers On First Aid

NCS Seizes 13 Containers of Unwholesome Imports

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Apapa Area Command has intercepted 13 containers with over 7.6 tonnes of cannabis sativa, 170,000 bottles of codeine syrup, security-sensitive drones and large quantities of expired consumer and pharmaceutical products.
