Compt Onyeka Continue To Show Prowess In Revenue Generation As TinCan command Generates Over ₦347B In Q1
The Customs Area Controller of the TinCan Island Port command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Frank Okechukwu Onyeka has continued to show prowess in revenue generation since he assumed duties at the command on the 20th of December 2024.
The command, within the first quarter of 2025 has generated as total of ₦347,935,672,476.00k, which is 12.6% higher than the ₦304,000,000,000.00k generated in the corresponding period of 2024.
A breakdown of the revenue generation shows that in January, 2025 a total of ₦116, 412,735,766.23 was generated by the command, representing a 24.06% increase higher than the sums of ₦88, 430,126,122.76 recorded within the same period in the corresponding year. In February the command generated the sum of ₦103,254,292,839.23k which is 2.90 % higher than the of ₦100,253,187,074.72k collected in February 2024 and in the month of March 2025, the Command generated the sum of ₦128,268,749,635.00k which is 10.3% higher than the ₦115,100,000,000.00k generated over the corresponding period of 2024.
The CAC of announced this while speaking with a group of journalists at the newly reconstructed conference hall of the Command recently.
While promising to continue to engage stakeholders in every way possible so that there can be more all round improvement in their operations, Comptroller Onyeka used the occasion to harp on the need for stakeholders to do honest declarations so that seamless operational environment may exist and all sides may benefit from a much better conducive environment.
