FWDR. TIMOTHY AWOGBEMI BAGS A DOCTORATE DEGREE FROM EUROPEAN- AMERICAN UNIVERSITY

Seasoned freight forwarder and Educationist, Fwdr Timothy Toluwase Awogbemi, was on Saturday, 21st of September 2024, conferred with a Doctor of Arts Degrees (D. Arts) in Educational Management and Administration, Honoris Causa, by European-American University, Republic of Panama.


The Prestigious Doctorate Degree was  conferred on him and other revered personalities who have made significant marks in various fields endeavour, at the 10th Convocation congregation and conferment of Honourary Degrees of European- American University, Commonwealth of Dominica, Africa Regional Operations, Lagos, Nigeria. 


According to the European-American University's All Africa Coordinator, Dr. Josephine C.Ahamefula Egbuta, "the philosophy of Education that informs EAU is not new; indeed, it is older than that of many more traditional universities. As an institutional philosophy, we conceive the University as a frame of reference for the learning undertaken by the students, rather than a coercive force seeking to control that learning change did not lie in coercive learning. Timothy Awogbemi, MD/CEO, MAS GLOBAL EXPRESS LOGISTICS LTD and Chairman, Canadian Gateway Schools, was honoured alongside Business Mogul,  Alhaji Abubakar Imam, Onireza of Ebira Land, Chief Okeke Hobby Paul( Ebubedike Abatete, Group Chairman, Main Service Logistics Limited, Mr George Ndubisi Ugwuanya, Real Estate Expert, Mr Paschal Ohazuruike, Banking Guru and Financial Expert, Mr. Ogunleye Stephen Babajide, Chartered Accountant and Chief Executive Officer, Denaro Properties Limited, Mr David Olalekan Olanrewaju, Editor, Our Moment Newspaper, Mr. Sanusi Abdul Sanusi, Real Estate Guru and Business Mogul, Mrs. Nneka Sandra Eze-Ojo,   a renowned Customer Service Guru and Real Estate Expert, and  Captain Emeka Ike, Commissioned Navy Merchant and revered Minister of the Gospel at the Joseph Palace of the Redeemed Church of God, in Lagos- Nigeria.


Fwdr. Dr. Timothy Toluwase Awogbemi hails from Ekiti East Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

He holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, a PGD in Business Administration, Nigerian Institute of Journalism NIJ, Lagos, MSc, Transport Management, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, MSc Finance, Lagos State University, Ojo, Masters Certificate in Supply and Logistics Management, York University Toronto, Canada, and MBA Essentials for Managers from University of Toronto, Canada.



Dr. Awogbemi is a member of many professional bodies, among which are :

* Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Management

* Member, Supply Chain and Logistics Canada

* Fellow, Chartered Institute of Directors, Nigeria.


He was awarded the certificate of achievement in Project Cargo Management by Project Professional Group, China, in 2012, among other certifications and honours.


Dr. Awogbemi is happily married to Mrs. Sumbo Awogbemi, and they are blessed with three lovely children.

Amaechi Calls on Nigerians To Boycot Elections Over Economic Hardship

A Former Minister of Transportation, Rt Honourable Rotimi Amaechi, who can be said to have been so quite since he lost the APC Presidential primaries in 2023 has expressed his sadness and displeasure with Nigerians for accepting the current economic hardship in the country.
