FWDR. TIMOTHY AWOGBEMI BAGS A DOCTORATE DEGREE FROM EUROPEAN- AMERICAN UNIVERSITY

Seasoned freight forwarder and Educationist, Fwdr Timothy Toluwase Awogbemi, was on Saturday, 21st of September 2024, conferred with a Doctor of Arts Degrees (D. Arts) in Educational Management and Administration, Honoris Causa, by European-American University, Republic of Panama.


The Prestigious Doctorate Degree was  conferred on him and other revered personalities who have made significant marks in various fields endeavour, at the 10th Convocation congregation and conferment of Honourary Degrees of European- American University, Commonwealth of Dominica, Africa Regional Operations, Lagos, Nigeria. 


According to the European-American University's All Africa Coordinator, Dr. Josephine C.Ahamefula Egbuta, "the philosophy of Education that informs EAU is not new; indeed, it is older than that of many more traditional universities. Fwdr. Dr. Timothy Toluwase Awogbemi hails from Ekiti East Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

He holds a BSc degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State, a PGD in Business Administration, Nigerian Institute of Journalism NIJ, Lagos, MSc, Transport Management, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, MSc Finance, Lagos State University, Ojo, Masters Certificate in Supply and Logistics Management, York University Toronto, Canada, and MBA Essentials for Managers from University of Toronto, Canada.



Dr. Awogbemi is a member of many professional bodies, among which are :

Dr. Awogbemi is happily married to Mrs. Sumbo Awogbemi, and they are blessed with three lovely children.

KLT Command Generates N36.6 Billion In 5 Months As Compt. Edeldouk TAKES Charge

The Kirikiri Lighter Terminal command of the Nigeria Customs Service, said it has generated the sum of N36.6 billion between January and May this year. This was revealed by Comptroller Martina Tilley-Gyado while giving her valedictory speech yesterday, Friday, 31st May 2024 at the command. This, according to her represents 75 percent increase when compared with sum generated within the same period of last year.
