The Customs Area Controller of Apapa Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Comptroller Babatunde Olomu PhD fsi, has joined the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and other sister government agencies to preach against drug Abuse and illicit trafficking.
According to a press release by the spokesman of the command, CSC Abubakar Usman , the Controller, yesterday had participated in the Walk Against Drugs to Commemorate the 2024 International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Drug Trafficking.
The CAC joined the Commander NDLEA, Apapa Special Area Command, and other government agencies in the port to bring awareness on the dangers inherent in drug abuse. He noted that such collaboration between sister agencies of government is crucial for intelligence sharing and ensuring public safety.
Olomu further noted that by working together, security agencies can achieve greater success and better protect their communities than they could alone.
