Tinubu's Economic Team Are More Like Tax Collectors Than Economists - Prof Yusuf


Former Executive Secretary of the National Health Insurance Scheme and member of the Northern Elders Forum (NEF) has criticized President Bola Tinubu's administration for the various taxes being implemented by the government.


He questioned the president's appointees decisions to over tax Nigerians despite the socioeconomic challenges his government has brought upon the citizens.


Speaking on Channels television interview on Sunday, 19th May 2024. Prof. Yusuf stated that the ruling APC government is focused on milking Nigerians rather than promoting the  growth of the country.


He accused the government of increasing the poverty and illiteracy level in the country with what he referred to as its "failed policies".


"People have lost hope, it pains me to see our people lining up to collect cups of parliative. Renewed hope has turned to hopelessness, people have lost hope. The last one year has been a year of nothing but deception, destitution and hopelessness.

NIMASA Reshuffles Management Team For Enhanced Efficiency And Inter-departmental Collaboration
