MWUN Loses Chief Accountant ...CONMMEP Commiserate With Union

 




Late Comrade Timothy Olufemi Olorunsola.

The Maritime Workers Union Of Nigeria (MWUN) has announced the sudden death of 
Comrade Timothy Olufemi Olorunsola, who before his demise was the Chief Accountant of the union. According to a release signed by Comrade, Prince Adeyanju Adewale, President General of the union, late Comrade Olosunsola who died yesterday, 13th of July hails from Ondo State, he joined the union as a Clerical Account Officer from the then Autonomous Union of Nigerian Ports Authority which later amalgamated to a branch of MWUN and through hard work, diligence and dedication, Late Timothy rose to the rank of Chief Accountant of the union.

Following his death, the President of Congress of Nigerian Maritime Media Practitioners, (CONMMEP) Alh. Tunde Umar Daniah and his members commiserates with the President General Com. Prince Adeyanju Adewale and the entire MWUN famly on the demise of the Chief Accountant of the union. Com. Timothy Olufemi Olorunsola.

Daniah prayed the Almighty God  to give MWUN and the immediate family of the departed the fortitude to bear this great loss.

NIMASA Reshuffles Management Team For Enhanced Efficiency And Inter-departmental Collaboration

I n an exercise aimed  at strengthening  inter-departmental collaboration and inject new energy into the system to further improve performance and enhance efficiency across the maritime sector, The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has announced a strategic redeployment of its management staff as part of efforts to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery in line with its core mandate.   Under the new structure, according to a press statement issued by Mr. Edward Osagie FNIPR,  Head, Public Relations Officer of the agency, a total of 56 management staff were affected in the exercise.
