SNFFIEC , IFFA Berates Chief Sonniel Onochie ... Passes Vote of Confidence On ANLCA President

The president of Save Nigeria Freight Forwarder Importers and Exporters Coalition (SNFFIEC) Chief Sir, Osita Chukwu who also doubles as the Chairman, International Freight Forwarders' Association (IFFA) Apapa Chapter has berated Chief Sonniel Onochie over his comments against the current President of Association of Nigeria Licensed Customs Agent (ANLCA) Mr Emenike Nwokeorji which was reported in an online media platform.

Chief Osita, while reacting to the report said his associations has passed a vote of confidence on Mr Emenike Nwokeorji stating that the president has been able to consolidate peace and understanding among the various ethnic groups without bais. He also stated that Nwokorji through a harmonised ANLCA consolidation of a credible, quinine, free and fair election ever since the existence of the association.

He called on Chief Sonniel to desist from creating bottlenecks in ANLCA processes and procedures as he lacks the capacity to evaluate the National president since he has not being an elected officer of the association.

The SNFFiEC president advised Chief Onochie to go and rule his village town union association first before he will know what administration and leadership of an association with different ethnic, religious and political groups which are involved in ANLCA.

He went further to advice Chief Onochie to understand that Customs agents are not father Christmas and so cannot solicite for anything that could undermine the legitimacy of it's body.

He however, described Chief Nwokorji as the goose that layed the golden egg. saying that Emenike came, he saw and conquered with his resources, potentials, humidity and prudence to the core which transparency and accountability which the members of ANLCA and other stakeholders and associations deemed it fit to align with their ideological concept.

Appraising Chief Nwokorji's one year in office,  Chief Osita Chukwu scored him very high. He stated that ANLCA was at the verge of collapse , before Emenike and his team picked up the pieces of members involved in what he described as overall "turggrey and banditry" that bedeviled the association many years ago. Many of who were against him, he later reconcile with all. With his transparency method he had been able to harmonize the audited account and kept moving steadily to deliver on his mandate.

In his words, '"Nwokeoji has tremendously performed well within his reach. The ANLCA members and secretariat and western zone even members can bear him withness on the beyond board efficiency, capability and doggedness.

"Continuing, Osita said, "All chapters in ANLCA zones have been modified, which intensifies his reach as a president to ensure that all chapters in the south east, North zones elections are being conducted peacefully, fair and credibly.

Moreover, the preparedness of Nwokeorji on above mentioned has set aside the moral deficiency and acrimony of those who never wanted good administration to be likely seen in ANLCA which Sonniel Onochie is one. Which the evidence can be seen from the interview he recently granted granted to the The Prestige Blended Magazine (Online version)".
