AANI Celebrates Kanwan Katsina On His Birthday...Describes Him As Beacon Of Leadership

The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), through it's National President, Amb. EO Okafor mni, the National Executive Committee and the entire AANI family, had taken time out to celebrate one of the own, His Highness, Alhaji Usman Kankara Bello mni, (Kanwan Katsina) on his birthday.


Describing him as a beacon of leadership, the alumni said they have  taken immense pleasure in extending warmest birthday wishes to one of their most esteemed and cherished members, His Highness, Alhaji Usman Kankara Bello mni, SEC 35, 2013, Kanwan Katsina II, revered District Head of Ketare Katsina State, North West Nigeria.


The birthday felicitation according to a report by africaprimenews.com was signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the Alumni Association, Brigadier General SK Usman (rtd) mni, Sarkin Yakin Kanwan Katsina and it reads;


“Today, AANI proudly celebrates a remarkable traditional ruler, a beacon of leadership, and a steadfast bridge builder. Your Highness, your unwavering commitment to AANI and your profound dedication to national development, peace, and security stand as a testament to your exemplary character and enduring legacy. Your love for your people, reflected in your role as a royal father, is a source of inspiration and admiration.


“Prior to your ascension to the revered throne of your forefathers, you served our nation with exceptional distinction as a customs officer, culminating in your rise to the esteemed rank of Comptroller. Your illustrious career was adorned with significant appointments, including serving as the spokesperson for the Nigeria Customs Service and leading various customs commands with unparalleled excellence. Your service to the nation was further marked by a tireless dedication to duty and an unwavering commitment to the progress and well-being of our great country.


Continuing, the birthday message says, “As the District Head of Ketare, your visionary leadership has brought transformative development to your domain. Your initiatives in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, water supply, and the empowerment of youth and women through ICT and security have indelibly impacted the lives of your subjects. It is no surprise that your efforts have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the distinguished title of Most Outstanding Monarch this year, a fitting tribute to your exceptional leadership and service.


“As you celebrate this significant milestone in your life’s journey, we join in praying that the Almighty continues to bless you with good health, prosperity, and the wisdom to lead with grace, courage, and compassion. His Highness, Alhaji UK Bello, Kanwan Katsina added another glorious year to his age on Sunday the 1st of September. Happy birthday sir.

NIMASA Reshuffles Management Team For Enhanced Efficiency And Inter-departmental Collaboration

I n an exercise aimed  at strengthening  inter-departmental collaboration and inject new energy into the system to further improve performance and enhance efficiency across the maritime sector, The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has announced a strategic redeployment of its management staff as part of efforts to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery in line with its core mandate.   Under the new structure, according to a press statement issued by Mr. Edward Osagie FNIPR,  Head, Public Relations Officer of the agency, a total of 56 management staff were affected in the exercise.
