AANI Celebrates Kanwan Katsina On His Birthday...Describes Him As Beacon Of Leadership


The Alumni Association of the National Institute (AANI), through it's National President, Amb. EO Okafor mni, the National Executive Committee and the entire AANI family, had taken time out to celebrate one of the own, His Highness, Alhaji Usman Kankara Bello mni, (Kanwan Katsina) on his birthday.


Describing him as a beacon of leadership, the alumni said they have  taken immense pleasure in extending warmest birthday wishes to one of their most esteemed and cherished members, His Highness, Alhaji Usman Kankara Bello mni, SEC 35, 2013, Kanwan Katsina II, revered District Head of Ketare Katsina State, North West Nigeria.


The birthday felicitation according to a report by africaprimenews.com was signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the Alumni Association, Brigadier General SK Usman (rtd) mni, Sarkin Yakin Kanwan Katsina and it reads;

“Prior to your ascension to the revered throne of your forefathers, you served our nation with exceptional distinction as a customs officer, culminating in your rise to the esteemed rank of Comptroller. Your illustrious career was adorned with significant appointments, including serving as the spokesperson for the Nigeria Customs Service and leading various customs commands with unparalleled excellence. Your service to the nation was further marked by a tireless dedication to duty and an unwavering commitment to the progress and well-being of our great country.


Continuing, the birthday message says, “As the District Head of Ketare, your visionary leadership has brought transformative development to your domain. Your initiatives in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, water supply, and the empowerment of youth and women through ICT and security have indelibly impacted the lives of your subjects. It is no surprise that your efforts have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the distinguished title of Most Outstanding Monarch this year, a fitting tribute to your exceptional leadership and service.

His Highness, Alhaji UK Bello, Kanwan Katsina added another glorious year to his age on Sunday the 1st of September. Happy birthday sir.

KLT Command Generates N36.6 Billion In 5 Months As Compt. Edeldouk TAKES Charge

The Kirikiri Lighter Terminal command of the Nigeria Customs Service, said it has generated the sum of N36.6 billion between January and May this year. This was revealed by Comptroller Martina Tilley-Gyado while giving her valedictory speech yesterday, Friday, 31st May 2024 at the command. This, according to her represents 75 percent increase when compared with sum generated within the same period of last year.
