FWDR.INNOCENT ABU HONOURED AS PRESTIGIOUS AVIATION ENTREPRENEUR

The Secretary of National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, Rotn. Fwdr. Innocent Abu, has been honoured by The Prestige Blended Magazine Online and Print as Prestigious Aviation Entrepreneur. 

Fwdr. Abu, who is also the MD/CEO of  INNOSTAR VENTURES LIMITED, was so honoured in line with The Prestige Blended Magazine's tradition of identifying  individuals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen fields of endeavour.


Speaking at the event, the Publisher of the Prestige Blended Magazine Online and Print, Mcanthony Udochukwu Onuoha, said that his outfit resolved to honour Rotn. Fwdr. Innocent Abu in recognition of his entrepreneurial ingenuity, his laudable accomplishments as a seasoned freight forwarder and logistician, his contributions to the Aviation industry, the society and to national economy.

The recipient was late last year, conferred  with an Ambassadorial status by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency- NDLEA, MMIA Command.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders- NAGAFF, MMIA Chapter, Fwdr. Udoson Onyeka, espoused the unique qualities of Fwdr. Innocent Abu. Udoson described the Logistician as a humble and intelligent  professional, he commended The Prestige Blended Magazine for singling out Abu for such honour and urged him to put more efforts as the reward for hard work is more work.


Those who were at the event took their turns to eulogize the recipient, Former Women Leader of NAGAFF, MMIA Chapter and Leader of the Women Wing of  Association of Igbo Maritime Practitioners In Nigeria- ASIMPIN, MMI Airport Chapter, Fwdr. Mrs. Patricia Agboje, described Abu as a hard-working man and appreciated the media outfit for the special recognition while advising other aviation practitioners  present to always  strive to distinguish themselves as core professionals and await all the recognitions and accolades that diligence attracts. 

Rotn. Fwdr. Amb. Innocent Abu holds a BSc. Degree from Lagos State University and Master's degree in Public and International Affairs, University of Lagos. He is a Member of Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), Member, Institute of Prefessional Managers (IPMA); as well as Fellow, Chattered Institute of Logistics  and Supply Chain Management (FCILSCM).


Appreciating the recognition, Abu expressed gratitude to God Almighty for bringing him to where he is presently. He thanked the Chairman of NAGAFF, MMIA Chapter for his good leadership and brotherly love. The eloquent Secretary of NAGAFF MMIA Chapter, profoundly thanked The Prestige Blended Magazine for the special recognition. He dedicated the award to members of NAGAFF MMIA Chapter; and promised not to relent in quality service delivery as a logistician, professional freight forwarder, humanitarian and an advocate of a drug- free society.

KLT Command Generates N36.6 Billion In 5 Months As Compt. Edeldouk TAKES Charge

The Kirikiri Lighter Terminal command of the Nigeria Customs Service, said it has generated the sum of N36.6 billion between January and May this year. This was revealed by Comptroller Martina Tilley-Gyado while giving her valedictory speech yesterday, Friday, 31st May 2024 at the command. This, according to her represents 75 percent increase when compared with sum generated within the same period of last year.
