The Lagos Free Trade Zone command of the Nigeria Customs Service NCS within the first half of year 2026, generated the sum of N408.869 billion, (Four Hundred and Eight billion, Eight hundred and sixty nine naira) only. The Customs Area Controller (CAC), of the command, Comptroller (Mrs) Hauwa Abubakar announced this today, Thursday 2nd of July 2026 while briefing newsmen at the commands. She said the figure represents an increase of N91,546, 402,785.69k as against the sum of N317,322,735,712.06k generated in the corresponding period of last year, amounting to an impressive 28.85 percent increase in revenue.
