COMPT NNADI PRESENTS HIS 8 MONTHS SCORECARD AT SEME CUSTOMS COMMAD …Records Over 97% Of Command 2023 Target

  The eight months of Comptroller Dera Nnadi mni, at the Seme Customs Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service witnessed a remarkable and wonderful improvement in the areas of revenue generation, anti smuggling and trade facilitation. Customs CG Performs Official Groundbreaking Of Zone B Headquarters In Mando, Kaduna

  The Ag. Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, on Thursday, 7th August 2023, performed a groundbreaking ceremony for the massive construction of Customs Service Zone B Headquarters. The extraordinary edifice of 25 hectares of land situated in the Mando area of Kaduna State is part of CGC's unalloyed commitment to improve the welfare and efficiency of the Service. Speaking at the ceremony, the CGC described the initiative as a magnificent project that will pave way for the establishment of a solid and efficient infrastructure to drive the activities of the Service. Oyetola Seeks immediate Rehabilitation Of Apapa, TinCan Island Ports

  The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, while on a tour of Apapa and TinCan Island Ports on Monday stated that there is need for immediate rehabilitation of the critical infrastructures of the two major ports.   The Minister, who was conducted on the tour by the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority NPA, Mohammed Bello-Koko stated this while speaking with newsmen shortly after the tour, he said there was urgent need to forestall total collapse of the ports’ infrastructure and therefore there must be immediate rehabilitation of the infrastructure.   Following     the statutory retirement of some management members and to ensure operational efficiency of the Nigeria Customs, the Acting Comptroller General, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, has approved key appointments and redeployment within the service. Acting Customs CG Pledges to Enhance Community Relations Strategies

  The Ag. Comptroller-General of Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, says the Service, under his leadership, will continue to prioritize community relations in border areas to re-smoothen the discharge of the Service's constitutional mandates.   The CGC    made this known on Tuesday when he received members of the Senate ad-hoc Committee on Customs and Excise, led by Senator Francis Ade Fadahunsi MFR, on a courtesy visit at the Customs Headquarters in Abuja.
