PTML Customs Command Generates N213.4B Between Jan. To Nov

The  Port Terminal Multiservices Limited (PTML) Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has hit a whopping sum of over #213.4b as  revenue between January and November 2022. Giving a breakdown of the revenue collection made within the period under review recently, the Customs Area Controller of the command, Comptroller Suleiman Bomai said, that a total sum of N213,405,461,873.00 was generated between the month of January and November, 2022, compared to the amount realized under the same period of January and November, 2021, which was N205,157,478,605.00 an appreciation of N8,247,983,268.00 translating to an increase of 4%. The command helmsman who disclosed that the Command is equal to the task ahead said “I would have loved to double that figure, but the volume of trade is another thing. Seme Customs Intercepts Over N167M Worth Of PMS

The Seme Command of the Nigeria Customs Service intercepted a t otal of N167,722,751.51 worth of  premium motor spirit (PMS) from January to November 2022 The Customs Area Controller of Seme, Comptroller Jibo who reiterated his officers readiness to combat any form of transborder smuggling  during the Yuletide period said the command will continually facilitate genuine trade across the Seme Badagry axis. According to a press release by the commands Public Relations Officer  Hussaini Abdullahi, the command gave a breakdown of the various PMS seizures made this year to be equivalent to 28 tanker loads of 33,000 litres each.  The release explained that the seizures made at different times were effected along the creeks and beaches around Badagry. A recent seizure with a Duty Paid Value of eight million, eight hundred and eight thousand, two hundred and eighty (N8,808,280.00) only was made in the late hours of Wednesday 8 December 2022. CVFF: PMB APPROVES IMMIDIATE DISBURSEMENT -Appoints Five Banks as Primary Lending Institutions.

The Director General of Nigeria Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA)   Dr. Bashir Jamoh (OFR)  has  disclosed that Seventy percent revenue of  NIMASA is generated from Lagos. President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR has charged the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) to surpass the best think-tank amongst policy Institutes in the world.
